Ski Doo XP oil light on! Help!

I started a thread about breaking in my Ski Doo XP 600 carb that is still in circulation but have a new question, after getting 50 miles of break in miles
I noticed this morning that the oil light was coming on when riding, when I would stop and idle it would go off. Then back on when riding and off again at idle
I have checked the oil consumption and it is using oil and running perfect, I just don't know why the oil light keeps coming on? This concerns me as we are
Leaving in 5 days for Houghton. Any help or input appreciated.

Did you get it wet? My doo 800 did this now & then after inhaling snow dust. Pencil a line on oil tank & make sure it is metering & you know oiler is working. If in a jam carry spare plugs & mix oil in gas tank so you can continue riding. I'm betting it stops blinking once dried out & aired out since brand new.:)

I have penciled a line twice and it is using oil as I have checked it on three occasions, now that I am thinking of it, it may have been the gas light, even though
I there is around a quarter of a tank will the gas light come on? it was a red symbol.

I am an idiot, it was the gas light. It was the first time I had seen the symbol light up and assumed it was the oil light, the gas was lower than I thought and down to one
Line which kicks on the warning symbol. Thanks for the help though.
