Skidoo engine rebuilder in Minocqua/Eagle River area?

Can anyone recommend a good engine rebuilder in the Minocqua / Eagle River area? I lost compression on PTO side (2006 Skidoo 500ss) and hoping to get it back on the trail this year.

Thanks guys, I’ll give a Sportmans a call. Sled has 8800 mi. I believe I had a carb boot crack (high idle at stop) and didn’t replace in time. Normally I’d work on it myself but time is hard to come by these days.

There is p dogs in St.Germain if you looking to go with a non dealer and probably a little cheaper. If your looking to go with a Ski-doo dealer there is Lakeland Power sports in Woodruff on 47 or land o lakes rec.

You may want to dump it if you have to get into the Crank or buy a used Motor out of a Wreck. That Sled is only worth 2000 to 2500 running when your done.

Not even.
That sled sold for $5,000 even if you bought it new late in the year, I bought 22 of them and sent em back to Canada with the exchange rate being about 7% better than U.S.

Funny how the Canada dollar dropped 37% to U.S. in 14 years.
