Skidoo Rev speedometer ?

My buddies 05 600 revs speedometer is set on kilometers and the needle is set at 40 mph. The needle starts to move when the sled does, its like it needs to be reset so the needle starts off at 0. anybody ever see this. How do we set the speedo to mph. maybe thats all it needs. Thanks

You can calibrate the speedo to get the needle down to zero and there is a wire that needs to be unplugged to get it to read it in MPH. Go to dootalk.com and do a search on both issues, there will be some posts on how to do it.
