dropping a note about getting to ride 4 of the skidoo's last sat at the demo ride at track side..don't know what was more fun , demo sled's or following al and getting to meet him..started on the 600 etec backcountry for 12 mile's then the 800 etec short track al was on. 1200 gsx 136" and 600 e'tec gsx, for a bit.. we had 9 in the group including a skidoo rep, tell you what, al know's how to run a test ride.. we were flat out as soon as we gotta out of town going north, stayed on al's tail the whole way, about 8 mile's that man can reallly tear up the trail's..switched to the 800 and rode a bit farther north b/4 switching again.. every time we came to a stop or had to pull over and wait for the group, got to have a few laugh's with al and then wide open again..best demo ride i've ever got'n to take, hey skidoo rep, you better sign up for a lesson at the hiawatha... sorry to brp if we broke anything.. not!!
any way , stopped in at the hiawatha after that got some "we ride" sticker's and meet his wife.. great people both of them.... loved his wife's funny quote "al's a legend in his own mind".. if either one of you read this , nice to meet you both.. and hope to get to ride a day with you and your clan someday soon al..
