Skinz Hand Guards

Is anyone using the Skinz hand guards? How are they? I have an 05 Renegade with the Ski-doo hand guards and after a cold weekend of riding I would like something with more protection. Is there any other hand guards I should look at? Thanks for any input. Scott

I have a set on my wifes sled and my sled.........they work well! My only minor complaint is that you have to use the Velcro strap on the end of your handle bars or a plastic "rivet" that pushes into the end of your bars and if you have to grab your bars quickly for some reason it can be a little tricky as you can not grab the very end.

We both have the smaller ones, I believe they are called the Pro series.

Over all work good and worth the money! Rode all weekend and would not have wanted to be with out some kind of hand guards.

I saw Yamaha is selling them in their accessory catalog this year.

I rode with the Pro series for the first time on Saturday. I had used the regular plastic handguards in the past. Temp's Saturday were around 18 deg. I use the Klim powerxcross gloves. Hands were toasty warm. Because these velcro on the handlebars, they are much closer to your hands thus offering more protection from the wind in my opinion. I was able to stand or sit without any issues related to the handguards. I would recommend them.
