Skinz LED Light Won't Work

Has anyone successfuly installed a Skinz LED Tail Light kit? I'm having problems with mine and hope someone has a suggestion. I bought the Polaris CFI specific Skinz kit that has an inline converter that adapts the wiring to the correct polarity and power for an LED light. I have an 07 Polaris 600 IQ LX CFI with the original tail light built into the seat base, and I want to add a tunnel bag but it blocks the original tail light. I took the seat to the Polaris dealer and had them install the LED for me with the LED light bracket mounted higher on the back of the seat. I had them split the original wiring harness in the seat trunk so that I could run either light separately or both at the same time. The plug for the LED has the converter installed as it should be. The mechanic said when he hooked a battery to the plugs, both lights worked. When I put the seat back on my sled, the original light worked, but the LED light didn't work at all, even when I unplugged the original light. Are we missing a step here somewhere? Thank you.
