sled oil available on trail?

Going to back pack from Marquette to western up, will need synthetic oil for sled. Is sled oil available at gas stops or sled shops close to trails? We will be riding Twin Lakes and south to Watersmeet area. Thanks!

Krupps by Twin Lakes normally has a good selection. The gas station in Watersmeet does too. Normally it's not hard to find Amsoil and OEM in the Western UP. Not sure what brand you run. It's been a few years since I've backpacked in the UP but that was my experience in the past at least. I normally start off a trip with an extra gallon on my 06 carbed 600. Assuming 40:1, 12 MPG's, I'm good for about 800 miles. If my trip will be longer than that, I just keep my eye open when I stop for gas.

Good prices at auto part stores that are very close to the trails. L'ance,Bruce Crossing are across the street from the Trails. They have some belts as well. Keep in mind they are closed on Sunday. I have forgotten to fill the sled in the morning before. That can be an expensive mistake.

I have bought a few Qts from Rousou bar before. They had Amsoil for $10 each. I had no problem paying that. They need to make money to.

Yeah Candy a plus size gal maybe size made it look like a bikini since a lot flowing over could have been a 2 piece.

I'm an AMSOIL dealer located in Hubbell, zip 49934, about 9 miles from Houghton off trail #3, down by the lake and not far from Candies corner cafe. Available 7 days a week if anyone needs oil and can't find what they need, call me. Quarts and gallons of all snowmobile oils in stock. Interceptor, Dominator, Injector, Chaincase oil etc, complete stocking dealer.
