SLP silencer for Polaris FST

Just curious if anyone has installed the SLP silencer on their FST. If so what kind of results did you get? Better performance or just different sound? My wife says she is fine with her sled the way it is but it is too quiet for me, and I also like the idea of shedding a few pounds off the front end. Thanks

SLP Exhaust

I have the SLP Silencer on my 07 FST. It is 15lbs lighter, looks good, Less heat, and more noise. It is not suppose to increase performance. SLP no longer makes this silencer. There were some quality issues with the baffles inside. Mine was sent back to SLP to be reworked.
Your wife will think it is to loud but you may think it is cool. I get many looks as I go by because of the deep tone.

My father just put a MBRP on his 2007. Sounds very cool. Deep throaty sound. It is noticeably louder. Lost bunch of weight and have access to chain case tensioner now. This is plus if you need to adjust on the trail.

I had a SLP one, baffel broke, it was loud and it started to melt the side cover. I got my money back. I ordered a ELA muffler but it has not arrived yet.
