I am putting new sly dog skis on my two yamaha venture and rage.What way does the rubber block go I put the large side forward some say it should go in back.These skis are real tuff to put on
Sorry I can't remember exactly which way the block goes for a yamaha, but I do have a trick for putting the bolt through...
Put a 2x4 on end underneath the ski on the side the nut goes on (so all the weight of the sled is on the inside of the ski). This should compress the rubber block enough to get the bolt through both sides of the ski.
