Snow Flap Siffener Bracket?

My buddy's studs are eating snow flaps in reverse in deeper snow. I have seen a snow flap stiffener bracket somewhere that keeps the flexiable snow flap from bending into the studs? The bracket is a metal frame that bolts/rivets on the tunnel & is a back stop for snow flap. Anybody know where these brackets are sold & do they work? The sled is a 2011 Yamaha Apex SE with studs down the center only.

How about a couple eye bolts drilled into the flap on both sides with a backing plate below it and tie the whole deal up to the rear bumper? Adjust as necessary.
