I have ridden Snow Hawks a couple times, once out in the mountains and once up in the U.P. and to be honest I would never actually buy one. They are fun for about 15 minutes. So if you can rent one for the day before actually buying one I would try that. I ride moto so I thought for sure I would want one but that didnt end up being the case.

Just my two cents...

Everyone has their two cents! Some like them some don't! I also agree that if you get a chance to ride one dont pass it up. It may be for you and it may not! Still not sure it will be able to replace my sled, but I sure do have blast riding the bush!!! I can go places you just can't get a sled! Sleds can climb straight up stuff I just cant! Always a trade off!!!

Production of the Hawk has stopped and the last run was only 800's sitting at close to $18,000. The best is to purchase a used one and spend another grand or so to make it correct. They could have used a bit more R&D. There is great family of talented Hawk riders and fabricators making upgrades and replacement parts as well as still having parts availability from AD Boivin! The best ones are still the 503 fanners! Best suspension and easiest to drive! Believe it or not power is sufficient. I have the 600 HO and a buddy rides a 503F and I never mind swapping Hawks every once in a while!

Where did you find one and what is it?

Crazy clean!!! Makes mine look like its ready for the junkyard!!! It will pull good money and my guess is that it will pull over $5,000. Still needs to have the frame stiffeners and an anti-stab kit! Maybe some track screws if you plan on riding some trails!!! A great find!!! PM me if you have any questions!
