Anyone know of where you can find snow totals on the eastern shore of lake superior in Ontario? Considering there is such a long fetch across lake superior.

Can't find 'totals' but this will give you an idea of how much is on the ground. Use snow depth under physical element and high contrast palette under map preferences. This was linked under John's snow depth map, but doesn't seem to be working right now. Looks like 4-6 feet on the ground from Batchawana Bay up to Marathon.

It would be found on Canada's version of our NWS, Enviorment Canada or something like that. All reports are in metric so find a conversion table.

Wah Wah reports 54 cm on the ground. ( 22 inches ) The Soo, 40 cm ( 16 inches )

It looks to me like they have more snow than anywhere besides the mountains. They get LES from the NW, W, SW, & S.

I think thats the area they call wawa canada. I think thats probably the best kept secret anywhere. I wonder what kind of sled traffic they get.
