I have snow trackers on my 07 Apex and love them but i am a little concerned running them in low snow conditions anyone use anything else that can work as well i know the triple points work good but i just want something i can pu at a dealer because i dont have the time to wait leaving next wk .At what the trackers cost i want to get as much out of them and would rather wear out something cheaper thanks

Bergstrom has the highest quality carbide but you pay for it & I got 2 day delivery. I would take the snotrackers off too as going to be wear in scabby conditions. Maybe some duallies for early season or shaper bars less money? Most folks riding lakes around here to save sleds.

thanks whitedust i was thinking about duallies maybe the slim jims have you ever used these trackers on your sled they look pretty scary but they work great the only thing i don't like about them is in low snow conditions the skis never touch the snow they ride on the trackers.

I backed away from snow trackers just over your concern of wear on roads & scabby conditions. I have to ditch bang to get to trails & have to come out on roads were ditches do not allow enough room for safe passage. I rotate worn triple points for sharp triple points & ski savers as conditions improve only takes about 15 minutes to swap out myself. We were on 107 in good conditions & bud had snowtrackers & I had new triple points on my 2007 Attak GT he had the 2011 Apex XTX EPS set up & said he had push with the snowtrackers & I was carving with new triple points. Another bud used dualies on Rage did ok but tend to push at times. You are on the right track to protect the snowtrackers in low snow conditions just have to make compromise with anything else than Bergstrom triple points & ski savers but compromise not that important in scabby conditions anyway.
