i can only imagine what it will do, with how many people are at that event, I bet there was alot of wide eyes and holy s#$%ts. They sold over 100 kits there first year, this year will be huge I bet. we will probably start seeing alot more around, I hope so atleast

the really do, I built my own and have rode it alot around my home, it really sheds a new light on riding ditches. sleds cant keep up with me! when a sled has to slow down to side hill a steep ditch I can just go straight across it with out slowing down or changing position. I have sidehilled 50 degree slopes, that I would never attempt on a sled

That's pretty cool. I came by the shop a couple winters ago with a trailer load trying to sell me on the idea. I thought it was really cool but didn't think it was $3500 cool.

They'd be a fun toy to play on but surely not a trail friendly ride. Too cold and not fast enough!!

Yea fun TOY for sure. And they are fun to play on. I can say from experience that those bike and Hawk's can go more place's in the backcountry than a sled. Been out west for the past 4 year's on a hawk. I've put on 150 mile's plenty of time's this winter. In MI and MN, Very trail friendly, if your set up right. Hand warmer's are great. So for the cold factor, not really a concern. My hawk can do about 90mph, I don't like to go that fast most of the time but it's there. Those bike conversion's will hit the trail pretty fast. I mean 65-70 is fast enough.

Greg. You missed the trip to cooke this year. Allen from Timbersled was there letting anyone ride the HORSE. Awsome machine. Nothing like 2moto or exploror. Much better build. with plenty of snort.

Now I LOVE one ski ride's. Rode sled from the time I was 5 till 5 year's ago. Still have my first sled Sno pony. But will probably never ride a with 2 ski's again. For those of you thinking of getting a bike conversion. Go for it. You only live once and time's ticking. If you don't like it sell it.

You hit it right on the head there. sled's try to side hill as far as possible some go a long way, but they would never out side hill a one ski,

Here is the question for the guy's who love sidehilling sled's. How many of your ski's are in the snow sidehilling. Yep- ONE SKI lol.

The Toms must know where its at :) like I said my sled is for sale and I wont be looking back, crf450x here I come! Instead of a bike I ride 4-6 months a year and a sled I ride 3-5 months a year 1 bike I can ride all year round.

my dad and I went for a short ride down the ditch on saturday and he was on my sled which side hills like crazy and couldnt keep up, not even close. and my snowbike is only a 125 and the 700 (575 cc less) was way back there

I would have loved to make it but have to go another time. I do enjoy the Hawk but still find it to be a bit too condition specific. If I could have both I would be a happy camper. I do however miss the technical skills it takes to tuck up on a sidehill and hold it there through the trees on a sled. The Breeze kind of reminded me of this a few weeks ago when we went north. I never really did get a chance to take the Hawk into terrain that was that knarly! Now on the other hand when condition are right you can't have more fun getting to and from the play spots. We had one ride this year where the old logging roads were tracked up with only a few feet wide of snow on the side and we had a blast playing in that snow while the 2-ski had to watch. Same thing coming down the trail between White Pine and Bergland. The sides were the ultimate playground. You can also play in the trees that a sled can just drive through.

I do miss my mountain sled and have been thinking about sending the Hawk down the road! Again if I could have both I would never think about getting rid of it as the days the snow is good it is the most fun you can have in the snow!!!

Anyone want to trade a mountain sled for a Hawk? Anyone want to buy a Hawk?
