...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO 6 PM
MDT SUNDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CHEYENNE HAS ISSUED A WINTER
STORM WARNING FOR SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 9
PM THIS EVENING TO 6 PM MDT SUNDAY. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO
LONGER IN EFFECT.

* TIMING...9 PM THIS EVENING THROUGH 6 PM SUNDAY. THE HEAVIEST
SNOW WILL OCCUR BETWEEN 3 AM AND NOON.

* TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...10 TO 16 INCHES...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER
AMOUNTS ON WEST AND NORTHWEST FACING SLOPES.

* WINDS/VISIBILITIES...WEST WINDS WILL GUST UP TO 50 MPH TONIGHT
AND TURN NORTHWEST SUNDAY MORNING. THE COMBINATION OF STRONG
WINDS AND HEAVY SNOW WILL REDUCE LOCALIZED VISIBILITIES TO NEAR
ZERO...ESPECIALLY OVER OPEN AREAS.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL AND OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES WILL BE AFFECTED BY
THE SNOW AND GUSTY WINDS. TRAVEL WILL BE HAZARDOUS WITH SLICK
AND SNOWPACKED ROADS AND REDUCED VISIBILITIES.
