Snowing in Victor, ID ...

woke up to a nice dusting of snow this morning. Hard to believe it was 80 degrees on Saturday. Supposed to get 6-12" in the higher elevations today and tonight. It's starting .

Thanks Techsledder...the Victor area is awesome. We have amazing and easy access to riding in 3 mountain ranges. My favorite is Pole Canyon, which is south of town in the Snake River Range. Hard to beat.

Snowed all day... a couple wet inches on the valley floor. when the clouds up high clear, we'll be able to see how much we got up there. NWS is forecasting 5-8" more overnight, but we all know how that goes.

Jonw, you're a fortunate dude having that kind of riding out your back door! I've heard great things about the Alpine area from a friend out there.

Alpine area has some great riding.

I ride the Poker Peak area which is just northwest of Alpine, on the west side of the Palisades Reservoir; and south of Alpine in Bedford (which has some ridiculous terrain).

This snow is getting me pumped up for the season...now if only my new Pro RMK will arrive..

Jon Wilson here...I rode with you at Tog last year. I was with my buddy from Chicago and we paired up with a father and 2 sons from WA. I'm also a buddy of Mike Etch.

We'll definitely have to ride again this winter. You live on the east side of town, if I remember correctly?
