Snowmobile Trails shared with Sled dogs

Wondered how it worked out this past weekend in Calumet/Copper Harbor
area with the big Copper 150 Sled Dog Race. Did anyone see the dogs while
they were out?

I also have a question for MaggieMusher....what kind of dogs are they using for racing? Some of them look more like bear hunting hounds than huskies?
Are there acceptable standards and are all breeds allowed to race?

When I was in Alaska there was a team of poodles that raced the Iditarod.
