Snowmobiler Shot Dead

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – Officers arrived to a scene to discover a snowmobile idling and a man who had apparently suffered a gunshot wound or wounds on Saturday around 6:51 p.m., according to the South Bend Police Department.
Officers arrived to the scene on the 1200 block of N. Brookfield Street in South Bend. The officers were unable to resuscitate the victim. The victim passed away at the scene, according to officers.
A representative of the St. Joseph County Coroner Office was contacted to the scene. The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit later identified the victim to be Eugene R. Scott, a 22-year-old South Bend resident.
This is an active death investigation.

Yes it is, don't know details yet and google search looks like it was on a down town road in South Bend. I tried to link the article but when i did it just came up with tons of symbols so I condensed it in my post. That is everything that was wrote in the article.

Whoa? This is the world we live in, eh? Unreal is all that it can be, very sad. Perhaps we will get the real details of this.

I live in SB and will say that where this took place is not a good area to be riding a sled (city neighborhood) or in the best part of town. He just happened to be on a sled, but could have been shot just walking down the street, riding a bike or driving a car. Lots of drug and gang violence in this area.
