No disrespect to the driver or the family but, that's trouble waiting to happen in any season or conditions!

WOW... I was shocked at all the facebook posts. That one went off the deepend. I can't believe the Kirk comments . Seems life hasen't humbled him enough yet. There is a big snowmobiling community in that part of NY.
RIP to the young man.

What a sad story. RIP to Dan and condolences to his family. As a member of the racing community, this hits close to home and it's always sad to see something so tragic hit the sport. I was not at this race, but some close friends were and to describe the days events, its just heart breaking. Its had a great effect on them all.

last weekend at a grass drag after all the racing was done a guy on a 300 hp $20k '12 Cat 1100 turbo wanted wanted to do a solo run with the radar gun...at 90+ mph he lost control..crossed 3 lanes and the sled ended up in a pile of parts. $20k gone but luckly the driver walked away and no other racers were on the track!! very sad when accidents like that happen
