Snowmobiling clothing layering systems

Hello All

Just checking to see what other people have liked when it comes to layering snowmobiling clothes. What types of fabrics and manufactures do you use for base and mid-layer? I bought a Polaris Rush and need to step up the windproof program.

Thanks

I have klim stuff and love it but the most important thing is to describe the type of riding you do. It make a huge difference in the types of clothing you should be pursuing..

Flannel and jeans on top of cotton long-johns. Just kidding.

If you do a search, you'll find lots of input on this. Like mike said, it depends on what kind of riding you do. With the rush, I'd assume mostly on-trail...

I agree with Lenny electrically heated gear is the way to go, you can adjust temp with the turn of a dial. Much easier then bring tons of clothing and hoping you got what you need on any given day. I only wish I went this way before I filled my closets with all kinds of now useless stuff. And if you choose this route buy Gerbing.

If I were to pick the layer that is most important is the base layer. If you get sweaty and wet it is over. I personally spend very little on clothing with the exception of a nice snowmobile jacket. There are some of us that never get cold and I fall into that group.
