How are the conditions right now? Update as you ride the area.

Today is December 12th and the snow is basing up fairly well.
We found plenty of fresh today near Kennedy Peak on the Snowy side of the Snowy's. (Short video at end of post.)

I will update as we move through out the week. And again when we are here in April.
Anyone else riding the area feel free to add the dates and area conditions.

The tree holes are still here in December too.

The accommodations at Ten Mile Inn are great as always. With the addition of a huge new bunk house on top of the freshly built cabins pictured on their web page, this place is going to be the new hit on the Snowy Range.

Also, thanks to Ryan from Albany for bringing us a rental for a great price. He delivered it across the mountain for us,

Day 2 Update.
December 13th.
A long day of riding so no pics or vids today, sorry. I will post some tomorrow.
The weather was a little warmer still 37 after sundown when we returned. We rode around the widow maker and through the coaster. Rev Kev, your creek at the end was still open. Stopped and dug the safety kit by there too. The south and east side of the range is weathered and tracked. Still fresh stuff blowing around. The cornices and faces were still really stiff with lots of large rocks showing on the steeper faces. Lots of fun stuff on the north side of the range. Some of the group will be making a large loop tomorrow, more updates then.

December 14th Report
The clouds kept the temps warm all night, it was 38 this morning before sun rise. Then the temps dropped to around 32 for the afternoon. Now we are sitting at 37. Some ice has developed on top of all the snow and there is a lot of mushy spots. We made our way to the top of Kennedy today and played around fish creek run off area on the way down. Some of the guys we hauled out made a huge loop to the north and then all the way down to Albany and Fox Park. They said it is wind blown and hard on the southerly facing areas. Also, trail T is closed from just west of T&B intersection.

Here area some pictures of some Dootalkers that made the journey out west with MOMS.

5.SigelSummit made the trip down from Sigel County Mn to meet us on I-80 for the trip out west.

7.WIS.REV drove from Wisconsin and met up with us near Chicago

8&9.This guy fell off and 'Ghost Rider' pinned this in the trees about 60 ft down the ravine.

11. Plenty of deep stuff

December 15th
The temps dropped and the snow rolled in late last night and all day today. Six inches+ at the lodge, more higher up of course. Tons of fresh to plow around, great for side hilling and downhill powder turns. We hung around in the creeks off of H and L today instead of heading out further due to the visibility conditions. The dark mass of snow was still looming around Kennedy and the North area when the sun broke behind the hills. They are forecasting for 8 to 10 inches tonight. :frosty:

pic 1:Found another tree whole. SigelSummit said I was out of control....No way.
