And I think I am gonna do it again. Man I forgot how awesome our local trail system is. Put a 100 miles on yesterday/last evening. Everything was groomed up and firm. Still clicked some rocks with the skis. Still had to slow for a couple plowed fields. But man was it nice to ride. Rode through my stretch of trail that I take care of and that really was satisfying. Very twisty and fast corner to corner. 100 miles here at home is like 200 in da UP. With the forecast being a debby downer I think I will go have some smiles again today. They won't miss me here will they???? There is always tomorrow.... So long suckers. I'm going riding!! :glee:

I know spring grove has not been out until today. But I don't know any more than that. I did know Dennis Conniff. He and my wifes Grand Father Alan Eglinton were the founders of our Club and our trail system. Without those two guys who knows what we would have today. The amount of lobbying and time spent at the state Capital by those two guys was pretty amazing. We actually just dedicated a section of our trail to Dennis. How did you know him?

Got the boss back home from the doctor. 3 more weeks immobilized. Oh well we'll manage. Onto the sled I go, the white gold is very bright! The fresh dump should make it just plain PARADISE!

That's great my dad always told me Dennis was one of the founders that is cool, he and a couple of guys in our club were close friends so he actually was a member of our club as well and went to our summer campouts and club rides with him, I always thought of him as Clint Eastwood,

Hey snowchief just thought I would let you know that we dedicated a section of trail to Dennis Conniff a couple weeks ago. He was the force behind getting this permanent bridge up behind his brothers house. Its a mighty bridge so we put some pretty cool signs up on either end of that section. Thought you would like to see it. https://www.facebook.com/474234062614332/videos/793081691048211/?t=0

Great to see, thank you for sharing, I hadn't heard about until after the dedication wife spotted it on Facebook, I don't have Facebook but I'm thinking of getting it since it seems more clubs are using it to give out info. I guess a couple members of our club went down for the dedication and said it was really nice. Looks like riding is done for me this year but if conditions are right I am definitely going to go down and ride that trail next year.

That's cool, I hope they win I have a problem with the private schools in these smaller classes they draw kids from the town's and areas all around them and typically recruit for sports and then get to play against small rural communities, most always cheering for the small home town girls, the only thing that makes it good is when the small schools and up beating them

Well they lost a tough one. I know they should feel good with 2nd but I know they don't. Like you guys said when. Small town like us plays a school that recruits it's tough. Regardless we are proud in our town. This is us bringing those girls home!! https://youtu.be/LQRZGv2QH-I
