Many of you have visited Brooks Lake Lodge in WY.

Over the weekend, they had a fire in the lodge causing extensive damage. Fire fighters from Dubois arrive on scene after their long drive up the mountain. They were able to save the lodge itself. Way to go firefighters!

Hopefully the lodge can be restored as close to it's original state as possible. It sure was a magnificent place!

I would imagine that they are under extra scrutiny from fire investigators and insurance adjusters for that reason.

Did they ever determine how the fire started at Weasels?

I hope they make out well rebuilding it was a nice place a d a great area,
,and odds are if they have good ins and if it wasn't anything fishy like, they will

maybe even upgrade things too, as that is what seems to happens when things go bad, NO one seems to JUST make it like it was, they go bigger
so, they better get going, won't be long and NEW snow will be falling there!

I hope they make out well rebuilding...

Doubtful...when Sidetracks in Cooks MI burned several yrs ago owner hoped to rebuild but only got roughly 250k from insurance...minimum to rebuild started around 750k...so, that place is no more...
