Some POSITIVE COMMENTS ABOUT A SNOWMOBILE DEALER

I purchased a used snowmobile three weeks ago from a private party and I had a few issues with it. It is a 2007 Ski Doo 550 Fan and the intake boots were severely cracked. This machine was checked out by a dealer in December and they did not notice this. I did call the dealer and explained the situation and he offered to cover the intake boots and the installation. The boots came in on Friday and I showed up at his door this morning at 9:15 and I asked if he had time to do it now. I did explain that I traveled pretty far so he did this right away. First of all he did not have to cover this expense, I did not purchase anything from him. All I have to say is I will travel to this dealer this guy knows how to run a business. The business is DLB Motorsports in the big town of Colby, Wisconsin. THANKS ONCE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My wife and I ordered new sleds in 2005 only to find out that the dealer we ordered from went out of business. We had to take delivery from a different dealer which I will not name because they were aweful to deal with. Any warranty or service bulletins we needed taken care of we went to a dealer much closer to home and they took good care of us. This dealer and their mechanic stepped up to the plate and made a bad situation alot easier for us as the customers. We have switched dealers since then and have bought three new sleds from these guys because they deserve our business. Since then any work we have needed to get done has been completed while we wait. We had a clutch issue this year on our daughters sled, we dropped it off on our way home on a Sunday and Monday before noon I got the call it was ready!! We are happy to do business with KM Sales in Hancock Wisconsin. These guys arent the biggest dealer by a long shot, but they have our vote for the best any day.

The smaller dealers seem to have it right, in my opinion. I went 20 miles down the road pricing sleds looking for my current sled. Then I shopped online. With about a dozen emails out to different dealers, one dealer stood out! Thanks to Edgewater marine we got a great deal on our current sled. AS for the dealer 20 miles down the road, well, after spending nearly $30K there over the last 15 years, I had surely hoped to get a good deal on a new sled. BUT NO, they are too big of a dealer to give good deals I guess. So, I drove the extra hour to Edgewater Marine and saved about $1k....gotta go back this Saturday to pick up the sled after some repair work. Repair work that was started the day after I dropped it off! Now thats customer service! Thanks Mike and John!!!

Most of the time Ur warranty is as good as Ur dealer. If u find 1 that will go that extra mile 4 u on warranty issues u will have agood dealer. Ecklunds in Oshkosh gave me a new gas tank under warranty 4 a 2005 cat I had 2 put it on but I thought that was going the extra mile 4 a customer.

I love my Dealer!! Peacock LTD. just north of Baldwin, MI. they take fantastic care of me, and I have no problem spending money with them. (kinda working relationship lol). picked up my sled today 26 new parts (some big, some small) and ready to roll. They remember your name and that's important.

I've heard good things about DLB. They are only about 25 miles west of me. My old dealer in Merrill, WI was awesome for us. In his haydays he only sold about 30 new sleds. That is not the kind of dealer the manufacturers want now. Wish he still sold sleds, but he still does good service.

He bent over backwards for me one year. My new ZRT burned, and I told him I didn't want it back. I bought a new sled and I wanted a new sled back. 12 days later I was riding a new one. He got Cat to take the burned one back. It's dealers like that, that us guys remember.
