Hello All!
I spent the last few days riding in Price County, Wisconsin and had a couple of oddities to share.

The first two photos are that of an older Ski Doo that had caught fire along a fence line.
The only thing identifying it was the word ROTAX stamped on the side of the block,

The third photo is from the Ice Drags on Lake Solberg...this guy was running this thing at about 60 mph in the quarter mile and "lovin every minute of it",

The fourth shot is a Classic from Wisconsin... an All Weather Deer Stand,

Lastly...not an oddity but a view from the top of Wisconsin...Timm's Hill!
Elevation of 1951.5 feet above sea level

THINK SNOW!!

I've been to those same spots many a times. Never get sick of seeing them again. Thanks for the memories.

Is the fire tower still there?
Many years ago on a chilly fall day I was climbing up the fire tower ladder but only made it about 1/2 way. Didn't have any gloves to wear and my fingies got cold. As I was going back down I hear someone ask why I wasn't coming up? Here someone was on duty...lol!!

Yes, the Fire Tower is still up there. Though this photo was taken from the Observation Tower which is much shorter and is pictured here. If you look closely at the background you'll see the ladder to the Fire Tower.

The Deer Stand is northwest of Phillips and appears to be on private land, thus the photo from a distance from where the trail passes by.
