? something solid in the raindrops?

I'm sitting here watching what looks like a minor hurricane outside, and I'm serious when I say it looks like and sounds like there might be something somewhat solid in some of the raindrops hitting the window...a bit of sleet mixed in at times I suspect. It's 43 degrees, and has been falling slowly all day thusfar, so I guess it's possible.

No doubt about it now. Just had a burst of snow-like precip. that was "ticking" on the window. It very quickly turned back to "snrain" or whatever you call it, but there was definitely something solid in the precipitation.

Thought some of you diehards out there would like to know.

We got it going on right now big time here in Grand Haven. I am staying on my boat tonight. Rock and roll! We got 6-8 ft. rollers coming up the river. I have 2 ft. waves in my slip. My dog is having kittens.
