Anyone ride this Since 2/26? Keweenaw Trail report on 3/3 said the snow cover is now too low to continue to groom. Obviously the trail will continue to get bumpy but I'm wondering how rideable it is. Rocks, bare spots, water etc?

Rode trail 3 from Mass City thru the North Range yesterday. Freda Loop also. Plenty of snow. Flat and fast. Groomers were running....ran into one on the loop.

A group of us rode south out of Houghton to Greenland on Friday. It was all good until we gotta near Greenland. Freda loop was great as was the 3 trail North of the Parkview

Anybody rode trail 13 loop? I love that trail but it drives me crazy that it always only half groomed.

My son in law did friday afternoon, he started from Twin Lakes side said first half was awesome, the last 15-20 miles into Greenland were brutal.

So, what do you suppose the trail conditions will be like this weekend north/north east of Greenland? Want to at least get a 2nd weekend of riding in this season... This winter sucks...

2X on trail 13 the Greenland side was the same deal last year. Rode by their groomer shop after getting pounded to **** on trail 13 early Saturday morning and not a mark in the drifted snow in front of the shop. What a shame

There is low wet areas on the 13 trail which prevents groomers from doing the southern half of the loop out of Greenland unless it has been cold enough to freeze solid that area. Yes, that section sucks bad now. BUT, the north half was great when we rode it on Friday March 3. I would recommend you go up trail 3 to the north entrance and ride it to where the groomer turns around and then go back -- because the that part of the trail is the best part anyway and what the ****, we just wanna ride and burn fuel!!

Superior Club grooms all of 13. Groomer out of Twin Lakes goes 20 miles south, then Groomer out of Greenland come north. South end is wet and not frozen after 3 thaws this year. When things are set up they do a great job.

Guess we just got spoiled by the job the other sections did between Mass City and Copper Harbor. See no less than 5 groomers Friday morning with one broke down losing a wheel bearing and derailing the track. On the way back their crew had it back together and back on the trail grooming. Great job
