South Range

I have some friends staying near Gogebic next week and they want to ride to Copper Harbor with their 2 kids (ages 13 and 15 driving their own sleds). Do you think the ride from South Range to Copper Harbor be a good 1 day trip or should I send them even farther north to drop the trailer?

Is there a good spot in South Range to park for the day? It would be a weekday.

Yes they can park by the Legion on the south side, across the highway from the legion.

It would be a good day. We left Trimountain once about 6 PM and ate at the Mariner North for dinner. Made it home really late but dinner took 3 hours and we had a guy break his trailing arm.
