Southwest michigan kids

Looking for an area for my son to ride. He's 5 yrs old and ZR120 sled is stock. We live 50 miles south of Chicago. Is there somewhere to ride for kids or only private property. Thanks for any info

I would try Niles Michigan. Although the trails are not private there are some open farm fields. Keep in mind that I have not been there in 4 years soo things may have changed.

Pretty sure riding in those open fields would require permission.

The trails lead out of the woods into the fields. I by no means would suggest riding on someone property without permission. We have a hard enough time keeping our sport positive.

Sorry for misreading you.
The south bend trail would have less traffic than Niles. It's open now, but has no base and 6-8" of fluff.

If you are on trails the child needs to be at last 12 and have a snowmobile safety certificate in their possesion. If in a field you need property owners written permision.
