Space heater thread

I saw a space heater thread on here in the past, anyone have a link?
I'm looking to warm up a room.
Was checking into edenpure and such, just curious.

I have read many threads on heaters. One person will swear by an eden pure and the next guy will sell you a new one in the box for $200? I do not think it will save you money unless you quarter off the rest of the house and use it in one room. These heaters work well as supplementary heat sources and can take the chill of a cool room. I think eden pures are a good product if purchased for the right price. I use one of those fan driven ceramic heaters to get my cabin to temperature when we first walk in.

Edenpure Heater...

I have an EdenPure, and I like it. I wasn't so worried about the cost of running it. I know they claim that it does save money, but I'm just not sure. The reason that I bought one was because my wife did in-home daycare, and the playroom always seemed drafty. We bought it because of the safety aspect of it. Kids and pets can't get burned, and it really heats up a room quickly. Now we have it in the basement of our new house and use it to supplement the heat down there. Works great.

I was ready to order an EdenPure today, just because I heard they were good, and then I googled them and started reading negative comments, just curious.
I realize that there will be pro and con on everything, I rememberd a thread on here and couldn't find it.
