Well I am about $25,000 in already on this sledding season and it hasn't even started yet...
*I wrecked my sled in the Snowies last year and just finished getting back together... $1,800 to repair
*I Snow Checked a new Ski-Doo Summit Freeride for this year... $12,500
*Went to Milwaukee Snow Show for Avalanche Class and ordered a new Legend "Explorer" 7x27 trailer super decked out for a great price, retail $10,600 paid $8500 (This will definetly fit 3 154" sleds)
*Picked up a Klim ABS Avalanche Backpack at Show...$800
*Got a new updated Beacon, Tracker 2... $300
*Picked up a GPS Spot... $150
*Other crap... $1000
Now with at least 2 trips to the Keweenaw and 5+ out west planned I am tapped!!!

Although I couldn't be happier with my purchases I did feel like I needed to remember how much I love sledding - Watching these video's helped me remember...

These vids are from a Snowy Range Trip in March:
Video 1 has some unbelievable scenery (I usually chase snowstorms so visiblity normally sucks for my trips) , some climbs on Widow Maker and the rock that jumped in front of my Renegade and ended my season early - the impact left me a bit dazed for a minute and my throat hurt for a week from the handlebars jamming into my adam's apple (video is 15 min. long but well worth watching).

Video 2 is a smaller hill that was just fun to play on (I am now on a Summit 800 154" since my sled was done for the trip and its dumping some freshy).

This Video is of some climbs on a nice size mountain at Lake Marie, its the last day of our trip were wiped out and headed home but I just didn't want the trip to end. (look at the 3 dumb sh*ts on the hill at the same time - notice I stay far back and wait till they are down, then when I notice someone came up behind me I rode far from the hill on my decent in case he triggered an avy, idiots!!)
*If you like the sound of sleds at full throttle then crank up your volume - sleds climbing everywhere!!

I have lots more vids from this trip somewhere but I seem to have misplaced the Micro SD Card - I'll post more when I find it, Enjoy it really did help me...

That rock hit at 12:35 amazes me at how little damage you can do on these machines and have it cost so much. I guess one sacrifices a bit more strength for light-weight. Front a-arm assembly for sure is a weak spot IMHO. I'm replacing mine as well for " light hit" this past year, I wasn't going as fast as you either.

Oh boy not far behind!!! New sled is in, may be picking it up next week. I also have a new Legend trailer on order.
Nothing like stimulating the economy.

I love the snowies. First trip out there this past march on an underpowered crossfire 6. Now I want more but have to wait for a new source of income. Stupid economy is cramping my sled style. Anyhow, snowies will be there when I have a chance to go again, can't hardly wait though. Nice video
