spring riding

Spent the day in the woods riding yesterday with some friends. Had a great time. I really love late spring riding. The sky was blue from noon on. I actually got a little sun burnt. I really don't understand why there are not more late season riders. Yes the trails are done but there is so much more out there.
If there is still a base in the woods and warm temps its a blast.

On anther note.... weather forecasts for the UP are almost always wrong if they are not coming from John Dee. I had some friends from down South bail because of the weather. I was happy to send them picture messages on their phones to rub it in a bit. :)

Snocrazy - there are those of us (OK, me) who have really only ridden trails most of our lives - with just a little off trail fun. We know there's snow in the woods but we don't know what woods to go to...what is legal...what the terrain is... And we all know no one wants to give up their secret squirrel spots - and I don't blame them at all.

That's why a lot of us don't go back in the woods. Not for lack of want... believe me! :)

Have the ole' man hook up with Cuzz, he will get you all turned around in the woods!

PR1 - LOL - BigDaddy said one time "I'm like a hound dog that can talk" ;) he was referring to smells but I've heard him use it since with direction. Let's see if the Eagle Scout can keep his bearings?!!?
