Since if was my first ride to "the area" I thought I'd snap a pic or your special place.

We have officially named it Stachler Stump, and with that being said, we expect a speech next time you are there with us.

Heck we may even put a plaque up there in your honor.

Stack has no problem taking ownership to that stump. We were riding with him there 9 days ago and was nice enough to stop and show us the famous stump. He is a great sport and a great guy for all the abuse he takes about that!!! That M7 was in a few video's and photo's with mishaps. The M8 hasn't had any yet that I know of, maybe this is the year!!

I have to say he is a good sport. To prove that he even posed by the sled just after the mishap.. I will have to say nobody saw it happen but he was evasive on his explanation of the "incident". I hope Mezz will pull out the photo of the original "incident.

Haha, I always get a kick out of seeing that pic Chris! When we rode by that about a week ago I had to point it out, it is a pretty famous stump up there now :)

Im sure my M8 will have some "Interesting Moments" that will get caught on camera.

I think there was a moment that could have been on video with the M6 but I missed it too. I was already up the hill on the other side when the incident happened.

hoffmansledder,

You're right, I didn't go. Snow conditions were what I was hoping. I've seen many people wreck stuff over the last 25 season openers and I'm not really interested in fixing my ride after my first rip. I have wrecked things tooooo many times. I have the deal where I like to jump off of bumps/humps and that has cost me. Snow is better now but we still need some. If only we could have what the Twin Cities have had we'd be rocking and rolling. I'm sure we'll get out and ride but I let my inner child get held back for that one. Now it seems I have a clutch issue that I got to get resolved.

The "Incident".... I still look at these & ask myself, what the **** was he thinking? I mean, really, you couldn't possibly do much with that lump, at least not from that approach. It was & still is a WTH moment, and yes, Stack has taken it well for the past 2 years, we'll see if he can be so gracious for the next 20!:D-Mezz

It had to be the sled!!! It must have had a mind of its own at that moment and took a wrong turn. M8man we'll get with you next time we are up with Mr. and Mrs. stack in Mohawk for the JD event Feb 4,5.
