Anyone know of a place to park truck and trailer in or around Copper Harbor? I'm only a couple hours away and would like to ride for the day. Thanks.

I would just park anywhere north of Houghton/Hancock and ride your sled up to Copper Harbor and back. There is really no reason to drive up there and start riding.

Greenland, Twin Lakes, South Range should be good to go. Ride em when you can, don't drive!!! How about Lenny, Kip, or Sandy should be able to confirm.

Great parking spot under the lift bridge in Houghton right on the trail. Park the truck and trailer there and ride up to CH.

My goal is always to get my but out of the truck as soon as possible and ride to your destination. I am always amazed to find any trailers in Copper Harbor. Minimal pack= maximum riding!

I agree, rode through there today and up to a two place trailer should fit or a truck could back up to many different size snow piles.

I agree. If you leave early in the AM, the ride north on 3 from Houghton is perfect trails and on the way back south you meet all the traffic. You still have nice trails on the way south but 90% of the traffic comes from the south by the P.M.
