This sounds like a great book. Reading about these early racing pioneers is pretty fascinating. The things these racers accomplished with the technology of the day was truly remarkable. Leroy Lindblad, who passed away last year, won back-to-back Winnipeg to St. Paul 500 races. According to an article posted on Vintage Sleds, the Midnight Blue Express (with Leroy's help), won over 85% of the races they entered in 76/77. Fittingly, he was laid to rest in Roseau.

Absolutely a must read! This is a great story of an amazing time in snowmobiling (and racing) history.

Great trailer by the way....In addition to the RXL's there were quite a few TX and ATX shots - very cool.
