You're lying in bed while posting from your iPad/tablet while it's lying in landscape position on an easel with the screen in portrait mode?

I have the same problem with pictures taken on my Iphone. If you don't take them in landscape (horizontal) mode even if you then rotate and save them on your computer they'll still show up sideways here.

Its because of the size...see that pic i posted of editing....if 2000 is listed first and a lower number second it will produce a sideways picture on here....edit it to make the smaller number list first and larger second and it will display correctly....do you know how or no?....like I said if youse guys want to learn I will show you...let me know....

Ps...take pics with phone standing not laying or person viewing cannot rotate correctly on their end...that's why some you cannot turn when others send to you....they took pic with phone sideways or laying position

That's because if you opened it and checked the size your phone is set at it will be that way...with small first and large second....go figure....i don't know whether to give you a DUH....or a DOH....on that one...how about an L.....lol

Where on a Iphone can you edit size. I can do it on my desktop. I don't seem to have the screen you show a snapshot of.

Go to gallery....click on any picture....top right corner....hit word edit....then hit box lower right corner....then up right corner again and hit symbol on left of only 2...now at bottom choose size.

Ps....apple blows and it isn't easy....Droid is way easier than that

ELF...question since mezz never came back on and said what settings worked....what type phone and model you have and what setting worked that look good and wasn't sideways or pixelated...my Droid was 1532 x 2048....the front number lower than rear number...i think that might be max but not sure and would have to test some more....maybe we can help everyone out so there is no more sideways pics and thread are cooler....after that maybe teaching em all the YouTube crap instead of just a link...which I never click since they don't know **** from shinola...i would just rather push the arrow and see the title of the film I am about to click

I have a iphone 11 and it doesn't quite work the way you described but it got me going in the right direction. I hit edit, top right corner, then far right button on the bottom taskbar, then another button on the top task bar that show picture profiles, then back to the bottom where you can pick sizes but the sizes are 16:9, 10:8, 7:5, 4:3, 5:3, 3:2, I've been doing 7:5 and then there's a button to hit to turn it into a landscape mode. Seems to work but it is a pain in the butt.

Was about 10-15 miles from the area I think op Mike does a lot of his riding. Considering it's April 23rd and we really haven't had much winter weather since late January it's amazing how the snow pack is holding on.

The landscape option on an apple puts the smaller pixel number first and larger second so it works just how I said...an android you have to choose that setting....if landscape is not chosen then the larger pixel number is first and that turns the picture sideways on this board....ya done good ELF....thanks....now if we can get the word out
