Heading up to the Kee. Haven’t been up here in a couple years, where are your must-stops or must go to when you are up here. Staying near houghton but willing to go anywhere

Eagle Harbor Inn is great for food and the Mariner North in Copper Harbor is a good stop. There are a couple of small bars near Phoenix that are fun stops. I believe one is called Cliffview and I can't think of the other right now. The Gay Bar in Gay also.

The other establishment just down the road from the Cliffview is the Vansville Bar, however, I think they are temporarily closed..

Quincy just north of the bridge is always good food. Mosquito has new owners, and Boondock in would be new for you if you haven't been up in a while.

Shute’s and the Michigan inn / red jacket brewery in Calumet both very old and historic. And both Vansville and cliff view are closed. Also Drift inn in Copper city just north of Calumet about 5 miles.

If you like lobster try their lobster pizza. Really good, try to stop in time through there.

Vansville and cliff view are closed. I’d hit the eagle harbor inn, loading zone, and mariner…. Can’t go wrong

I go by the vansville every week and it’s been closed for a while maybe 2 seasons or so. I hope they reopen. I also heard the cliff view may be owned by Fritz peeps but not sure. I miss that place too. We’d stop many times but more in the summer

we head up north a couple times a week, I could move north lol

HENRY'S NEVER INN - ROCKLAND

MICHIGAN HOUSE - CALUMET (3 blocks off the main trail - look for the sign for Carmeletta's, it's on the same street, further up)

I 2nd these two

Michigan house, calumet. top notch.

this made me think of Shutes, the tavern just down the street. The interior of this place is a throwback to Calumet's heyday. Just checking out the stained glass above the bar is worth the visit after dinner.
