So the day started out with warmer then average temps and we set a record high in northern illinois at 68 degrees. A little after 3 this afternoon a tornado touched down in northern boone county hitting the small town of Caledonia. It was just two years that a tornado hit the apple orchard in Poplar Grove in January. Not sure of the total damage yet but i've heard that a few houses were leveled and the local fire dept. and grain elevator sustained damage.

Was out deer hunting around Wausau area while sitting in my stand when I heard a rumble or two. Thought "no way" but yep it started thundering and lighting!!! Crazy this is November! Dad and I headed in and it started pouring out, we were drenched by the time we got back to the cabin.
When I got back to Appleton my grass is looking greener and longer!!
