Suggestions for rustic cabins in the Porkies?

Hi,

My girlfriend and I are going to head up to the U.P. toward the end of October. We'd like to check out the rustic cabins in the Porcupine Mountains SP, but there's a lot of them.

I'm looking for suggestions for which one is in the best location, has the nicest views, etc. (preferably a two- or four-person cabin). Thanks in advance!

If I were you, I'd contact the Park Service............not sure if you're referring to the cabins right in the park.............they're very nice, well maintained, etc., and of course they would be your link to descriptions and reserving one.

There are many rentable cabins in Silver City, too.............you might check online as there are many; some right on the Gitchegumee (sp).

That time of year...........after autumn color, but before the bonafide snow flies, you might find more availability.
