If you have no other reason to use the trailer than snowmobiling I'd get the Triton. If you can store your sleds someplace other than the trailer and you'd haul other things, or start loaning it out to your friends now that they know you have a "moving" trailer (they're going to start asking) then the cargo may be an option. One thing I'd do for sure though is not get the 10' Triton, but get a 12'. Your sleds may fit in a 10' now, but who knows what you'll be riding a few years from now. If it was me, I'd get a 12' Triton and you'll probably never need to get something different. If you do, you'll get almost all your $ back out of it on the used market. Cargo trailers are a dime a dozen and a few years from now that steel frame will be showing rust and you'll be kicking yourself. JMO

Just to give you my background, The trailers I've had in order are: junk and crap in the old days, 10' Floe open, 10' Floe enclosed, 12' Triton enclosed, and now a NEO 22' enclosed inline

I agree, if you get the Triton, get a 12', not 10'. I have a 10' with TopCap fiberglass clamshell, great trailer, but 5 years later I wish it was 12' long. Newer long track sleds won't fit.

I use a 7x14 tandem axle cargo trailer. I can fit a standard sled and a 2 up, both facing forward. Works great for me since both sleds have reverse. In the summer we use the trailer for camping and hauling the fourwheelers.

I would watch the capacity on the single axle trailers. I wanted to go that route until I did the math and realized that 2 fourwheelers plus camping gear was way over the max rating. With the tandem I have capacity to spare.

What was wrong with Floe enclosed?

What did you not like about the Floes?

What was wrong with Floe enclosed?

Nothing wrong with the floes. Went from an open to enclosed, then from the 10' to a 12' so all the moves were an improvement. Everything I've had as been drive on/off and with the 10' floe my f8 (128 track) would not fit in and close the top. Floe makes the front end of their enclosure flat, or straight up and down while Triton's goes forward before going up and back. With the Triton you can actually pull in farther and run the skis into that cavity which gains you some room. My f8 would have fit into a 10' Triton but didn't in the floe. The problem with a 10' Triton would have been if I'd run the skis up into that cavity I wouldn't have been able to open the cover from the front and pivot back to drive out as the cover would have hooked on the skis and prevented it from opening more than and inch or two.

I liked the floe just as much as the Triton and if I needed a 12' 2 place I'd have no problem buying either one. I was more interested in finding the trailer in the best condition for the $ than I was concerned about what brand it was when I was making those purchases.

Thanks a lot for all the suggestions... My main focus to buy an enclosed trailer is to help free up some garage space and help keep the sleds cleaner when not being used. Thanks Again & Pray for Snow in Wisconsin. We Haven't had enough to open trails in the Mid to south half of Wisconsin..
