Surgery Tomorrow

Since they can't figure out what exactly is wrong with my knee, I get to go under for them to do "exploratory" surgery in the morning.

I really hope they figure out what is wrong! I'm sick of being in pain all the time!

Anyways, wish me luck!

I'll keep you updated.

Knees can be a real treat. Tough to sit, stand or sleep much less walk when the knee is not right. Stairs really suck too. I over did it on my last back to back ride in the backwoods. Hopefully it is correctable in a minor way. Good luck to you, get well soon.-Mezz

Had my first exploratory knee scope when I was 12, MRI showed nothing, turned out to be an inflamed fat pad behind the knee cap that couldn't be seen on MRI. Trimmed that down and a few weeks later I was good as new. As good as MRI's are there are certain things they need to see in person. Good luck!

Thanks Everybody!

I had an MRI in November and it showed a sprained ACL and MCL, according to the report. Four month of pain later, I had enough and the Doc went in today to discover a torn Meniscus that, according to the report, was intact! Scott's right. They don't show everything!

Have to live with an ice pack and pain killers for a couple of days and then I should be good as new.
