I'm finding these synthetic mid-layers rank-up fairly quick and with these week long trips it's becoming an issue.

Anyone use a poly base with wool blend mid and then maybe a fleece or pile when it's drops below 0? I've read these wool blends don't take on the rank so easily.
I've also read if you're your using any type of Gore-Tex type material for outer layer you need to make sure you build up enough heat to push that moisture out. So it may be best to actually use a lighter weight mids so heat can build and push the moisture out.

2 t shirts, a sweatshirt, tek vest and jacket. Wear anything all week and it will stink...especially poly.

Never had a problem with poly, but I wear different clothes everyday. Sounds like maybe you should too? Lol

Lol, well it does happen with poly, we set up a fishing line, clothes line in the room sometimes and do a little laundry in the hotel sink. Looking to sell such "laundry kits" to you guys.

poly takes me back to the 70's....BO and poly....the women went wild....LOL...NOT!

Not polyester silly. Polypropylene. It is also known as the wicking material. Many popular clothing manufactures have the stuff and it works great – such as North Face, Nike, Mountain Hardware, Patagonia, etc. I have been wearing this stuff as a base for over 15 years and have yet to find something better.

I may have to try this or I might grab another set of mid-layers using wool and see what that does.
At times I'll ride aggressive and then if I stop the sweat can't move out of the suit.
As a kid all I had were the standard itchy balls long johns, jeans and cotton sweaters and don't remember getting that cold. With age I'm become a bit of a wus.

Last trip we set out for just one overnight from the truck as we thought we would come back and then relocated, so we didn't bring much on the sleds for clothes. Ended up staying out 3 nights so basically rode in the same clothes for 4 days. Would prefer to avoid that, but had a great time. Clothes definitely starting stinking! At least it kept the bugs away.
