I haven't seen him before to my knowledge, But I have been passing on bucks on this property for a long time, might of saw him when he was young. This was the first shot I've taken out of this stand since 2002. I've hunted every year but haven't seen a mature deer from it since I got one back in 2002. He was bedded within 60 yards of me for two hours, both of us were unaware of each others presence. He stood up at 4pm I heard him start in my direction, spotted him in the cattails and took the 37 yard shot. I made a bad shot and hit him far back. I sat for a hour and crept out of there like a ninja. Found him the next morning he went about 80 yds from the shot. I weighed him with one of those Cabelas buck scales before field dressing him and it was 245lbs. It was sweet to break the dry spell of that stand. I was playing angry birds minutes before the shot, I'd rather by lucky then good!

did you drink yourself to sleep? LOL
man, i would love to see one like that someday!
