Swamp, heavy atv, slow speed = big problems!

A picture is worth a thousand words they say, yet all I can seem to do is shake my head and mutter things. This is a local that tried taking his tracked Rhino onto the trails about 8 miles west of Ishpeming. I think he started from one of the local roads. Either way, he made it MAYBE 300 feet onto the trail before getting stuck in the swamp. In the fun of winching and grunting he managed to break the left rear track clean off the axle! Really sucks for the poor guy, he was just enjoying the northwoods, some cigars and the company of his dog... and had a really bad day!

Why call him, send him the piture titled "Look what I found" If it is him, it'll drive him nuts how you got it!

Case in point: Friend of mine never thought these would ever get out for public viewing!!!
Ha, still getting miles out of these.

Didn't get his name. I will try to get the rest of the pictures from my brother and see if his body is in any of them. Guy had a very "oh well, life goes on" kind of attitude which I respect considering this is a multi-thousand dollar repair. Can't take it with you, after all.
