Tear in seat....

Some how I got about a 2inch cut in my sled seat. Its on the side so it will not take a beating like it would if on top. Whats my best option to fix it and stop it from getting bigger??

Quick cheap fix is that vinal repair kit from auto zone (or any parts place)...I have repaired a couple of seats that way and they have held up for years...and really cant tell if you take your time...
