Hi Paul,

Thanks for doing this for the forum members!

I personally use the Super Sport model TekVest and it is nicely made & finished-note the fabric over the shoulder areas and has the zippered pockets on the front.

Is there a cut-off date for the pricing special?

My wifeee says I have to have one....not sure what that means except maybe my life insurance plan isn't high enough.

One question, does the super sport have a little more protection, especially in the shoulder area. From the picture, it looks like that to me.

On the Super Sport model, the shoulder area has fabric covering it (top & bottom).

I don't believe it provides more protection in that are from the Freestyle model. From the pictures, it appears the Freestyle has fabric on the underside of the shoulder area, just not on the top.

With the Super Sport, you have the 4 pockets on the front of the vest-2 secure zippered pockets, zippers run vertical on either side of the main vest zipper and a pocket behind those 2 that are open on the top.

Can't go wrong with either vest, but for me it's worth the extra $$ for the extra storage space, nicer-looking(IMHO), and has the detachable fleece collar.

From what I remember the Super Sport has more stiffener in the shoulders.

Good Pricing Paul!

I couldn't even find deals like this at the sno show in Novi! Nice Pricing! Matter of fact I only found one store that would deal with you and they only took $10.00 off the top price.

I'm very interested but would really like to try on. I currently have a Safe Jacket.

I'm about 210 slightly lower and am normally an extra large. I don't know if shoulders have anything to do with it but mine are broad.

Anyplace in Chicago area that has these to try on? I would also like my wife to get one.

Good question Indybru. I'd like to try one on first as well. Are there returns/exchanges if the sizing is off ? Thanks for doing this. I have been considering a vest for awhile now.

I tried on the XL and the XXL Freestyle. I am 6'3" and 230lbs. I have very broad shoulders and a 48" chest size. The XL fits me great. The side straps have about 4 inches of adjustment and I have mine tightened about half way.

The size charts he has are really a good guide to follow.

If your taller, I would think an XL would be a good fit. Just tighten the straps up.

Just my opinion.
