2.5 hours ago it was 91 with a dewpoint of 77 (heat index of 104). Wind shifted from SW to East and dropped our temps into the low 70's with a dewpoint in the mid 60's. Actually quite pleasant to be outside. Cut some grass and did not even break a sweat.

Snow in the winter and air conditioning in the summer. It's not just Superior, it's awesome!

I was at Bete Grise beach again and it the same thing there. It was around 80 when we got to the lake at about 3pm or so. It proceeded to drop to about 64 degrees (or so the car said) in short order. The fog was so thick we couldn't see much till we got back to Lac LaBelle.

Absolutely awesome, I went for a Gator ride and it was a tad chilly with a tshirt and shorts on.

THANKS JOHN!!!!!
Oh,how I long for a northeast breeze here at the Illinois/Wisconsin border..........

Move to MEECHIGAN, and get on the right side of the prevailing winds.....hey, think I will write the Gov and suggest a new slogan.....just another aspect to "Pure Michigan".....

Speaking of bugs....the heat must be whacking them down significantly....eh?

Ya the bugs are getting a bit better, but it may just be time for them to take a breather to regroup.

Duluth felt a little bit of the same effect yesterday. It was 91F here at work on top of the hill and 91F at my house, about 4 miles from the lake as the crow flies. Right along the water on Park Point, however, it was 70F. I'm not sure how long that cool weather lasted, though.
