Thanksgiving!

With the passing of John last week, there'll be an empty chair for dinner on Thursday. Our thoughts go out for Nora, Gracie, and the family. But I think if John had one last message for us, it'd be to carry on and enjoy a Thanksgiving with family and friends. Be thankful you can spend the day with yours because none of us know how many more we'll have together. I know he'll be mentioned in our blessing before dinner and I'm sure to raise a glass or two in his name during the holidays. Here's hoping your family is safe, warm, and happy this Holiday Season.
We miss you John... Godspeed, John Dee!

Well said, agreed.

Please remember to tell the ones you love that you love them, and help a neighbor! Have patience with kids and young folks too!

Hold a door for someone, carry a grocery bag, just be a solid person. Life is short!

I hope when my time has come some nice things are said about me!

Take care my friends

Well said Gary! With the holiday season upon us, the Dee family will be in our thoughts and prayers for sure. Wendy and I try to live with the fact that we are not promised tomorrow, so we must live life to the fullest today! Treat everyone how you would like to be treated. Be kind and thoughtful! Happy Thanksgiving to all our JD family. Enjoy your family.

Such great thoughts m8man, There was a day when you didn't have to remind people (not on this site, FYI) to be nice. Hopefully the holidays will bring out the good in people instead of all the hatred in the world. Happy Thanksgiving!

Thank you Gary, and m8man also well put and as pclark said "there was a day when you didn't have to remind people" I for one have never forgotten and will never forget thanks to the values instilled in me from my parents and family, its these simple actions that people may not realize make a difference in peoples lives but also their own, and yes lets try to get "rid of the hatred" in this world even if people are not willing to give or accept the kindness doesnt ever mean we should stop giving it.

Hug your loved ones and count your blessings!!
I had rough morning as I was put in a first responder roll as I was pumping gas this am.
God has a plan and maybe one day we all will be blessed to understand. Nora and Grace you will have my prayers tomorrow for what undoubtedly will be hard day.
