I hate to say this but probably the best pasty in Houghton is probably from Festival Foods grocery store. I would drive to Lake Linden and get one from the Loading Zone if you want a real good one..

Krupps also have a couple of tables so you can grab a quick bite to eat there.

Best in Houghton area, Econo-foods and Amy J . Outside the area a bit...but equal, Krupps. All are different, all are best of the best.

I just finished a pasty from Krupps and I must say that it is the best one I've had. I haven't had many from different places but this on was good.

I think we'll buy some of the frozen ones for when we get back home. Dang it was a long drive here!

i have 2100 mi this year in da u/p ,stopped at many places for pastys and i keep buying from deb/ jim at KRUPPS even bought a bunch to bring home for my guys in the shop..MEATHEAD

Amy J's in Hancock, only open 2 days a week and sell out fast might want to call ahead. Roy's Bakery in Houghton is great, had them last weekend, the Nissu bread is good as well.
