There are three to four waves of snow lined up over the next seven days starting Thursday, Feb 1st. Northwest Colorado is a bullseye for them all and Wild Skies Cabin in the Flat Tops takes direct hits.
The first wave hits the central and northern mountains of Colorado on Thursday with light to moderate snow accumulation. The second wave hits Colorado between Friday night and Saturday with heavy snow accumulation in the central and northern mountains of Colorado. The third wave hits Colorado between Saturday night and Sunday with heavy snow accumulation in the central and northern mountains of Colorado. The fourth wave hits on Monday with heavy snow accumulation in Colorado. This will be a banner stretch for The Flat Tops (heart of Wild Skies territory), Steamboat, and Buffalo Pass.
Guaranteed the best riding of the season will be at Wild Skies this Friday-Tuesday.
